Marco Vinicio Ferrari
He completed his musical studies at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome, where he graduated in 1995 with highest honors. He was the winner of auditions as 1st Trombone at the Teatro Arena di Verona, the Orchestra Regionale del Lazio and the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale di Spoleto.
In 2007, he graduated from the Conservatorio B. Maderna of Cesena, with a grade of 110 cum laude.
He has collaborated with numerous orchestras including Orchestra Sinfonica Abruzzese, Orchestra Sinfonica di Roma, Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana, Orchestra del Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, Orchestra Haydn di Bolzano, Orchestra Nazionale di Santa Cecilia playing under the baton of great conductors, including Maestros Riccardo Muti, Gustavo Dudamel, Antonio Pappano, Myung-Whun Chang, Daniel Oren, Daniele Gatti and Mstislav Rostropovich.
He has participated in various editions of the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro and the Festival Dei Due Mondi in Spoleto.
He has collaborated and collaborates with the Orchestra Roma Sinfonietta, as 1st Trombone, performing all over the world under the direction of the greatest Italian composers such as M° Ennio Morricone, M° Nicola Piovani and M° Franco Piersanti. He is 1st Trombone of the Italian Cinema Orchestra with whom he has played in various tours in China and the United Arab Emirates, as well as in exceptional Italian locations such as the Circus Maximus and the Flavian Amphitheater in Rome.
Since 2001, he has been a competition winner as 1st Trombone in the State Police Musical Band, a position he currently holds.
