Luca Massimi graduated in 2006 with the maximum of the valuation at the Conservatory of Music "S. Cecilia" in Rome. 

Then in 2009 he got the bachelor as Professor of Trumpet with a valuation of 110/110 at the same institute and attended the masterclass for brass instruments in 'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia' in Rome.

He collaborated as Trumpet player with the ''Orchestra Nazionale di Santa Cecilia'' in Rome, the ''Arts Academy'' Symphonic Orchestra of Rome, the ''Uto Ughi's Orchestra'' and the ''Ensemble Cecilia Elettrica'', and participated  to several musical competitions and festivals with ensembles of holy, classical and electronic music in every part of Italy.

He covered the place of Flugelhorn Solo of the Italian Firemen' Symphonic Band until May 2010.

From 2010 he covers the place of Flugelhorn Solo of the Italian Police's Symphonic Band.

In addition to being a Member of the Ottoni of the Pontifical Sistine Chapel and also a member of the Italian Brass Band.
